This study used the Data Mining method found in the social media YouTube video of the inspirational viral post of Nick Vujicic-"The man with no arms and limbs".
The researcher analyzed the validity of the netizens' prevalent emotions in commenting about the inspirational video that is worth sharing. It also will give us a glimpse of the pyschology of Information Sharing and how the netizens shared content in Social Media sites like YouTube. The next part of this paper aims to validate the problem why we share information content in Social Media. The Introductory part of the paper will explain the process of generating the Abadiano's Netizens Information Sharing Theory. In conclusion, further study of new terminologies influenced by popular culture and their impact on education must be broadened to develop new teaching strategies suitable for the student's learning capacity and the contextualized teaching-learning process. Furthermore, this study analyzed the effect of popular culture on the language usage and self-expression of the students. Determining its word origin and providing a contextual definition. The gathered trending terminologies revealed the common structure in language patterns using acronyms, back-formation, combination, and syllable change. It is also found that popular culture influenced the existence of current terminologies used by students in terms of Social Media, Online Games, and Clothing.
These existing terminologies are rampant in different online platforms, particularly in TikTok where most of the students spent their screen time. Popular culture stimulates the students to use trending terms in their casual conversation to be more expressive and creative in their communication. It has been found that Senior High School students tend to commonly use the trending terminologies in their daily communication with peers. This study explored and analyzed the current terminologies used by Senior High School students and its implication for the trends of popular culture.
